SURFING JUST GOT MORE FUN WITH THE ALLEY CAT EPOXY LAM

SURFING JUST GOT MORE FUN WITH THE ALLEY CAT EPOXY LAM

Hey crew, Mick here,

I’ve spent a lot of years chasing waves—some huge, some perfect, and plenty that made me push my limits. But if I’m being honest, some of my favourite sessions have been the ones that weren’t about proving anything to anyone. They were the ones where I was just out there, having fun, my mates. That’s exactly why I created the Alley Cat epoxy lam model—it’s about enjoying every moment in the water.

The Alley Cat is the kind of board that takes the stress out of surfing. It’s safe and super durable thanks to the epoxy construction, which makes paddling out a breeze, and it’s got the right amount of volume to make catching waves easy. You don’t need a perfect lineup to enjoy this board just a bit of swell and the stoke to be out there. It handles those small, cruisy days perfectly, letting you take off early and set a nice, smooth line.

For anyone just starting out, the Alley Cat is stable and forgiving. It’s the board that makes your first waves less intimidating and more about the fun. For those who have been at it for years, it’s about reconnecting with why we surf in the first place, just a good board for a good time.

I wanted this board to be simple, durable, and above all, fun. The epoxy lam construction makes it strong, so it’ll take the bumps and dings of day-to-day surf life. It’s versatile, and that’s what I think surfing should be about and lets face its the waves aren’t always perfect, and this board is about making the most out of average surf conditions.

I think we all need a reminder sometimes that surfing isn’t just about the biggest waves or the hardest turns. It’s about those days when the sun’s out, the waves are mellow, and you’re just there to enjoy it. The Alley Cat is my answer to those days—it’s about making every wave feel like a win.

So, if you’re looking to make surfing easy and fun again, grab the Alley Cat and come out for a paddle, and the good times.

Catch you in the lineup,
Mick Fanning
